Henry Bornsheuer, farmer and resident of this vicinity since 1917, passed away late Wednesday night, following a two day illness of pneumonia. He was born in Germany, November 17, 1868[?].
His demise will come as a shock to his friends as he had only been ill a short time and it was not thought to be as serious at it later proved to be.
Mr. Bornsheuer lived in Whitefield, Ill., before moving to Chillicothe the some twenty years ago. Until the last few years, he engaged in farming west of town. His wife, the former Louisa Finck, whom he married March 21, 1893, preceded him in death in September, 1934.(should be August, 1934)
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Ethel Crutchfield, Harold (s/b listed as Harry), Arthur, Wilbur, all of Chillicothe; Mrs. Ruby Donath of Princeville: Charles of Henry, and Harold, who is in the U. S. Navy, a number of grandchildren and many friends.
Funeral services will be at the Weber Funeral home, Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be at the city cemetery.
