SEIBEL, HILDA (YOUNG)
Hilda Young Seibel, 69, of 516 N. Pacific Ave. died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital following a long illness.
A native of Ramona, Ka., she moved to Lodi in 1911. She attended Alpine School and was married to Charles J. Seibel of Lodi in 1925. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Stokely Van Camp in Lodi. She was a member of Vinewood Community Church and was active in Woman's Missionary Circle there.
In addition to her husband, she s survived by a son, Euegene A. Seibel of Lodi; a daughter, Goldie Gossett of North Highlands; four sisters, Rachel Schafer, Lydia Reimche and Elizabeth Baumbach, all of Lodi and Eve Owsley of Spokane, Wash., a brother, Emmanuel Young of Lodi, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her parents, three brothers, three sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lodi Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert C. Seibel and Rev. Mike Fry officiating. Burial will be at Cherokee Memorial Park.
Friends, if they wish, may make memorial contributions to the Vinewood Community Church.
