Illness Fatal To Mrs. Young
Mrs. Elizabeth Young, resident of the Lodi district since 1911, passed away at 10 o'clock last night at a local hospital. She had been ill for the past six weeks. She was born in Russia and was 68 years of age.
The deceased was the wife of John Young, mother of Dan D. Young, Mrs. Marie Baumbach, Mrs. Rachel Schafer, Mrs. Lydia Wageman, Mrs. Esther Seibel, Emanuel Young, Mrs. Hilda Seibel, Reuben Young and Miss Eva Young, all of Lodi, and Mrs. Leah Reiswig, San Jose.
She was the sister of Martin Scheideann and H.E. Scheidemann, both of Lodi, and George Scheideann, Kansas. She is survived by 22 grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Young came to Lodi in 1911 and settled on a farm on Kettleman Lane where they have since made their home. She was an active member of the Church of God on Kettleman.
