John and Hazel (Caldwell) Bristow were the parents of 12 children with two of them dying in infancy.

Hazel F. Bristow, age 75, of 1540 West 45th Avenue, passed away in Methodist Hospital, Tuesday, April 12, 1966. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors: husband, John; 2 sons, John Junior and Ralph M., both of Gary; 8 daughters; Mrs. Jack Anstey of Leroy, IN., Mrs. Ralph Daniels and Mrs. Clifford Holler, both of Griffith; Mrs. Lillian Harvey, Mrs. Roy Tomlinson, both of Gary, Mrs. Ethmore Rhoades of Crown Point, Mrs. David Savage, Mrs. Gary Yakin, both of Hobart; 1 sister, Mrs. William Paterik of Chicago; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday, April 14, 1:30 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church. Rev. Will Davis officiating. Burial in Calumet Park Cemetery. The body will be removed from Geisen Funeral Home, Glen Park to the Church Thursday at 12 noon. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
