Geraldine "Jerry" L. Holler (nee Bristow), age 89, of Portage, formerly of Griffith, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011. She is survived by her daughter, Connie (John) Bowen of South Haven, IN; three grandsons: Christopher (Carrie) Bowen of Edwardsville, IL, Mark (Clarissa) Bowen of Westville, IN and John (Laurie) Bowen Jr. of Portage, IN.; seven great-grandchildren, Tara, Cayla, Dylan, Jeffery, Cassidee, Sydney, and Teagan; one sister, Gloria (late Gary) Yakim of Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Holler was preceded in death by husband, Clifford Holler.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN, with Pastor Jamie P. Constant officiating. Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday, May 27, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holler was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Gary, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Geraldine's loving memory to the church. Please visit kuiperfh.com.
