CALLED BY DEATH

Frank C. Caldwell, 67, died early Tuesday at his home in Jefferson, after an illness of five months with high blood pressure. The body was removed to the Endsley funeral home, and this afternoon was returned to the family residence, where friends may call. The funeral will be held at the Jefferson U. B. church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the Rev. Mr. Regenos, pastor, officiating; interment in Bunnell cemetery.
Mr. Caldwell was born in Boone county, March 3, 1869, and in 1889 was married to Carrie Isgrig. He was a retired employee of the Nickel Plate railroad. Surviving are the widow; five children, Jess Caldwell, Frankfort; Mrs. Hazel Bristow, Gary; Mrs. Halley Jones, Kokomo; Mrs. Bettie Hanson, Hammond; and Mrs. Ethel Patrick, Chicago; four sisters, Mrs. Ada Jones, Mrs. Edna French and Mrs. Avey Gladwell, of Boone county, and Mrs. Minnie Hinton, Clinton county, with two brothers, Ray and Bolen Caldwell.
