Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 P. M. for Mrs. Christina Nelson, 71, a Brayton farm woman and former resident of Anita, where she lived for many years before moving to a Brayton farm. Services will be held at the Roland, Peacock and Baxter Funeral home in Atlantic with burial in the township cemetery south of Elkhorn. Mrs. Nelson had not been in the best of health for many years and the past year and a half had become worse. About two weeks ago she was taken to the Atlantic Memorial hospital for medical care and she passed away there at 12:55 on Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Nelson was born in Schleswig, Denmark, on January 20, 1880, and came to the United States with her parents when she was one year old. She is survived by four sons, Antone, who made his home with his mother; William and Andrew of Dexter; James of Brayton; a daughter, Mrs. Martin E.
