ST ANNA – On Friday, March 10th, Mrs. Anna Roeder passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Mirsburger at Elkhart Lake. The deceased was born Nov. 23, 1836, in Austria. She made St. Anna her home during her married life, consequently she was well and favorably acquainted in this vicinity. Her husband preceded her in death about 30 years ago. The last several years she made her home at the different homes of her children.
The following children were born to the family; Mrs. Mary Grabinger of Random Lake, who died some years ago; Mrs. Theresa Hoeffler of here; Mrs. Elizabeth Mirsberger of Elkhart lake; Mrs. Katherine Dickrell of here; Mrs. Margaret Faust of Seattle, Washington, who also preceded the late deceased in death; Anton Roeder of here and Mrs. Anna Leonart of North Dakota. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
The remains were brought here on Monday and buried in St. Ann’s cemetery. Rev. Fr. J. H. Schmitt of his parish and Rev. Fr. Sippel of Elkhart Lake conducted the services.
