Mrs. Hoefler of Town New Holstein Summoned Friday.
Mrs. Theresa Hoefler, nee Roeder, 70, passed away at the home of her son, Edward, two and one half miles west of Kiel, town of New Holstein, Friday morning at 1 o'clock following a stroke. Mrs. Hoefler was born on July 23, 1864, on the Roeder homestead, and she was married to George Hoefler on November 14, 1889.
Her husband preceded her in death on February 10, 1931, and one son, Jacob, died on April 2, 1919. Survivors are one son, Edward, on the homestead, nine grandchildren, one brother, Anton Roeder, and three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Dickrell, Mrs. Elizabeth Mersberger, both of Elkhart Lake and Mrs. Paul Leonard of Heddinger, N.D. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the family residence, town of New Holstein, and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Ann's Catholic church. The Rev. H.J. Schmitt will officiate and interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.
