Stanley Livingston, 82, Tuscumbia, died Sunday at Miller County Nursing Home, Tuscumbia. He was born April 17, 1913, in Miller County, a son of Richard M. and Mary A. Burks Livingston. He was married Aug 27, 1934, in Ulman, to Rayma Brumley, who died July 1, 1994.
He had lived in Iberia and worked for the MFA Exchange. He moved to Granite City, Ill., where he was a firefighter with the Granite City Fire Department until he retired in 1958. He then moved to Eldon. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Alfred Livingston, Oquawka, Ill.; one brother, John William Livingston, Westphalia; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Livingston Cemetery, Iberia. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to the Livingston Cemetery or the Miller County Nursing Home.
