Double funeral services for Thomas Roy Livingston, 75 and his wife, Vernettie, 78, were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Billings High School auditorium with the Revs, Roy Wilson and John Tranbarger officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under direction of the Greenlawn Funeral Home. The elderly couple was killed in a car-train crash in Billings Wednesday afternoon. A retired farmer and painter, Livingston was a member of the Methodist Church. He and his wife are survived by four sons, Tennyson Livingston, Aurora, Ill., Bennett C. Livingston, Granite City, Ill., Roger E. Livingston, Beatrice, Neb., and Monte D. Livingston, Richmond; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Malcolm, Springfield, and 15 grandchildren. Livingston is also survived by three brothers, Robert, Iberia, J. W., Tuscumbia, And Stanley, Etterville, and four sisters, Mrs. G. A. Barr, York, Neb., Mrs. G. A. Berry, Tuscumbia, Mrs. Nettie Mace, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Hazel Woody, St. Louis. Mrs. Livingston also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Carrie Downing, Adalanto, Calif.. and a brother, Brice McGriff, Adelanto.
