In 1859, Hellen married Henry Morse, a native of Buffalo, Erie County, New York. They were married in Smethport, McKean County, Pennsylvania. They had three daughters (Ellen Isadora "Dora", Clara E., and one unknown) and two sons (Dever Ebersol and Edwin F.).
In 1886, Hellen and Henry moved to Sherwood, Tennessee. In the mid-1890s, Hellen and family moved to Piper City, Ford County, Illinois, where many of her brothers and sister's families had settled.
Her husband Henry died on Feb 23, 1901. Hellen moved with her sons to Hamlet, Starke County, Indiana. The report of her death there in May of 1910 was published in the Piper City Journal.
"Word was received here Tuesday of the death at Hamlet, Ind., of Mrs. Morse, mother of Mrs. J.E. Perkins, and a former resident of this vicinity. Messrs. A.D. Read and James Stedman, and Mrs. A.H. Hanson went to Hamlet to attend the funeral."
