Ann died 8:15 a.m. Friday at King's Daughters Memorial hospital after a short illness.
A native of Anderson County, she was a former employee of the KY Department of Parks, a member of the Frankfort Senior Citizens and the Evergreen Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Michael Wesley Wingate (Tina), Stamping Ground; and Keith Madison Wingate, Frnakfort; two sisters, Elizabeth Colston and Mrs. Roy (Hazel) Thompson, both of Frankfort and a grandaughter Megan. Ann was the daughter of the late Louis and Maudie Cummins Aldridge and the widow of Kenneth Madison Wingate.
Honorary bearers were Terry Wright, Roger Wright, Joe Colston, Darrell Thompson and Larry Reynolds. Active bearers will be Billy, Johnny and Jimmy Colston, George, Billy and Jerry Aldridge, Rodney Thompson and Gary Reynolds.
