He died 2:05 a.m. today at the Harrison Nursing Home in Lexington following a long illness. Burial will be in Alton Cemetery.
A native of Anderson County, he was an Army Veteran of World War II, a retired self-employed masonry contractor and a member of the Alton Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Lee Hatchell Aldridge, Frankfort; two sons, Billy Aldridge, Henry Co. and Jerry Aldridge, Franklin Co; three daughters Mrs. Delbert (Joyce) Cox,Jr., Lawrenceburg, Mrs. Robert (Patsy) Taylor, Columbus Ohio and Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Morford, Frankfort; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Colston, Mrs. Ann Wingate and Mrs. Hazel Thompson all of Frankfort; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was the son of the late Maude Cummins Aldridge and Louis Aldridge.
The Rev. J. Tyre Denney will officiate.
