George Gilbert Aldridge, 47, Big Eddy Road, Route 7, died at 10 p.m. Sunday at King's Daughters Hospital after a heart attack which he suffered an hour earlier at his home. He was a native of Woodford County, a masonry contractor, veteran of World War II and member of Evergreen Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Helen Travis Aldridge, a son, George Gilbert Aldridge, Jr., and a daughter Miss Peggy Louise Aldridge, at home; his mother Mrs. Maudie Cummins Aldridge, Franklin County; three sisters Mr. Elizabeth (IJ) Colston and Mrs. Hazel (Roy) Thompson, Frankfort and Mrs. Ann (Kenneth) Wingate Oldsmar, FL.

Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Yancey Sanders. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford County. The body is at the chapel.
