Elizabeth Aldridge Colston, 92, of Oaklawn Dr., will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Thornhill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford Co.

She passed Friday, December 28, 2007 at her residence following an illness.

Born November 23, 1915, she was a native of Franklin County and retired from Union Underwear and was a former employee of the Franklin Co. Extension Office. She was a member of Thornhill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Billy L. Colston, Fairview Heights, IL, Jimmy W. Colston, John I. Colston and Charles Joe Colston, all of Frankfort; her daughters, Donna K. Colston Saltzman and Frances A. Colston Robinson, both of Frankfort; ten grandchildren, Jeff Colston, Lisa Colston, Kevin Colston, David Colston, Jason Colston, Amy Warfel, Jeremy Colston, Julia Taylor, Matthew Colston and John Robert Colston; eight great grandchildren and a special friend and cousin, Mary Frances Aldridge.

She was the widow of I.J. Colston and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Maude Cummins Aldridge and was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Colston, her daughter, Linda Carol Colston, her brothers, George Gilbert Aldridge and William Aldridge and her sisters, Ann Wingate and Hazel Thompson.

Rev. William Hartung will officiate.

Pallbearers will be George Aldridge, Mike Wingate, Keith Wingate, Billy Aldridge, Larry Reynolds and Gary Reynolds.

Honorary bearers will be Joe Serafini, Jim Thomas, Ed Long, Joe Heady, Charlie Robertson, Don Saltzman and Roy Grisham.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 1, 2008, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel.
