Lina M. Sheets
Mrs. Lina May SHEETS, 81, wife of the late Clay SHEETS, one time sheriff of Fulton county, died at 2 a.m. Sunday at her home, 803 East Ninth street, Rochester. Death was caused by a coronary occlusion which followed a ten-day illness. Mrs. Sheets had been a resident of Fulton county all her life.

She was born December 23, 1871, at Millark to Israel D. and Almeda ZARTMAN JOHNSON. On January 17, 1892, she was married to Lewis Clay SHEETS who preceded her in death on March 8, 1937. Mrs. Sheets was a member of the Rochester Baptist Church.

Survivors are eight children: Mrs. Joe BAKER, Mrs. Delbert DAGGY, Mrs. J. H. READ, Arthur SHEETS, Miss Martha SHEETS, all of Rochester; John SHEETS, San Bernardino, Cal.; D. H. SHEETS, Richmond Heights, Mo.; Dee SHEETS, Seattle, Wash.; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and a brother, Harry E. JOHNSON, Akron. Two daughters, Nevada Grace and Zola Marie [SHEETS], died in infancy.

The body was removed from the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home to the residence where friends may call until the hour of the services. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist church with Rev. H. Gordon HYDE officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
