Glenn V. Daggy
Mrs. Glenn V. DAGGY, 64, 129 West Sixth street, died at 2:30 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John (Doris) MADLEM, 614 Jefferson street. Mrs. Daggy had been ill for the past year with a coronary condition.
Mrs. Daggy was born Feb. 14, 1898 in Fulton county to Lewis and Lina JOHNSON SHEETS. She married Fred J. NEWBY on Oct. 20, 1918. He preceded in death. Mrs. Daggy married Adelbert DAGGY March 6, 1934. Mr. Daggy died July 21, 1958.
Mrs. Daggy was a member of the First Baptist church, the Women's Union and the Epsilon Gamma class of the church.
Surviving with the daughter are three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. (Mildred) READ, Rochester, and Miss Marty Jill SHEETS, Rochester; four brothers, John W. [SHEETS], Crestline, Cal.; Dee L. [SHEETS], Seattle, Wash; Donald H. [SHEETS], St. Louis, and Arthur J. [SHEETS], Rochester; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Mrs. Ruth BAKER died Feb. 9, 1960. Two other sisters and a son also preceded in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. James RHOADS officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. this evening.
