Kenneth H. Grube, 56, of 1123 Seventy St., Kiel, died this morning at St. Nicholas Hospital where he'd been a patient for six days.

Mr. Grube was born July 5, 1930, in Sheboygan County, a son of the late George and Esther Guenther Grube. He graduated from Kiel High School and served with the US Air Force from 1950 to 1953. On June 25, 1955, he married Lois Stewart at First Presbyterian Church at Kiel. Mr. Grube worked as a truck driver with LCL Transit Co. until 1980, and also had owned and operated an upholstery shop at Kiel. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6707 of Kiel, and the Kiel Redmen.

He is survived by his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Alan (Pamela) Herr of Sheboygan, Mrs. Charles (Candice) Baker of Plymouth, Mrs. Sylvester (Debra) Volm Jr. of Campbellsport, and Tami and Melissa, both at home; two sons, Kevin with the US Coast Guard in Chicago, and Bryan at home; six grandchildren; three brothers, Charles of Fond du Lac, Robert of Fontana, Calif., and George Jr. of rural Kiel, and three sisters, Mrs. Louis (Marion) Kafusic of rural Valders, Mrs. Marvin (Elizabeth) Krossbeil of St. Ignace, Ontario, Canada, and Mrs. Robert (Diane) Billmann of Sheboygan Falls. He was preceded in death by one brother.
