Marion Ruth Katusic, 88, formerly a resident of Pigeon Lake, most recently a resident of Sheboygan Senior Community, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007, at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Marion was born April 16, 1918, in Sheboygan, to the late George Dewey and Esther (Guenther) Grube. She attended local schools. She married John Tauscheck in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death as a WWII casualty in December of 1942. On June 29, 1946, she married Louis A. Katusic at Zion United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death January 5, 2005.
Marion is survived by her daughters, Lynne Denis of Kiel, Karen (Mark) Johnson of Cleveland, and Lois Mason of Sheboygan. She is futher survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Hoefler of Cary, NC, Kristin (David) Gillis of New Berlin, Rodney Johnson of Cleveland, and Jared Johnson of Sun Prairie, her great-grandchildren Nicole and Kylie Gillis, and Marly and Edan Hoefler. She is also survived by her brother and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and special friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by five brothers, and two sisters.
Burial will take place at Greendale Cemetery.
