Howard Douglas Hubler was born on March 19th, 1932, in Gore, Oklahoma to Peter Penrose Hubler and Ella Josephine Powell. He was the 7th of 12 children. He married Mary Ruth Sumpter on the 1st of March 1951 in Van Buren, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Amy Ruth Hubler; brother George Hubler; sister Hazel Warren. He is survived by his wife Mary Ruth (Sumpter) Hubler of the home, children David and Mary Hubler, Michael and Bessie Hubler all of Gore, Sandra Kay Hubler Thomason of Tahlequah; grandchildren Shawn and Ann-Marie Hubler of Muscatine, Iowa, Shannon and Lacy Hubler of St. Paul, Minnesota, Rebecca and Scott Delsigne of Moore OK, Shari and Hyrum Peña of Tahlequah, Stacey and Nora Hubler of Broken Arrow OK, Michael and Sarah Hubler of Norman OK, Christopher and Vanessa Thomason of Vian, Daniel and Rachel Hubler of Stillwater OK, Jyme and Gary Marwedel of Glenpool OK, Samuel and Kristin Hubler of Searcy AR., Laurene and Oscar Perez of Moore OK, Sarah and Ryan Lee of Ft. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in Tahlequah with Bishop Brandon Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilson Cemetery, Gore, Oklahoma, with grandsons, Shawn, Shannon, Stacey, Samuel, Michael, Daniel & Jacob Hubler and Christopher Thomason serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Hyrum Pena, Gary Marwedel, Oscar Perez, Scott Delsigne and Ryan Lee.
