William Franklin Hubler, 81, of Ozark, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at his home.
He was born July 22, 1936 in Gore, Oklahoma to Peter Penrose, Sr. and Ella Josephine Powell Hubler.

Frank was member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Clarksville Ward, and Fort Smith Stake. He worked for several years in the Arizona Copper Mines and later retired from Gilbert Pump in Arizona. He enjoyed gardening, western novels and movies, and his pets.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Charlotte Ayedelott Hubler; infant son, Micheal; four brothers, Peter Penrose Hubler, Jr., Howard Douglas Hubler, George Hubler, and John Hubler; three sisters, Anna Mae Kennie, Ella Josephine Swearengin, and Hazel Warren.

Frank is survived by his wife, Bernie Hubler of Ozark; a son, Keith Hubler and wife Anna of Mesa, Arizona; two daughters, Pam Larson and husband Steve and Kristi Laureanti both of Mesa; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; stepsons, Tim Brown and wife Mary of Reno, Nevada, Jayson Peppas and wife Jenni of Alma, Arkansas, Jeremy Peppas and wife Gwen of Little Rock, Arkansas, Josh Peppas and wife Kelli of Alma; stepdaughters, Lanie Schubarth and husband Charles Ray of Ozark, and Penni Burns and husband Jeremie of Dyer, Arkansas; twelve stepgrandchildren who loved their “Papa Frank”; two brothers, Lynn Hubler, Sr. and wife Irma of Gore and Parley Hubler, Sr. and wife Nettie of Vian, Oklahoma; two sisters, Frances Sumpter and husband Harold and Mary Mannon both of Gore; Brother-in-law Lewis Warren of Gore; sisters-in-law, Retha Hubler of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jewel Hubler and Ruth Hubler of Gore; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces a

A private family graveside dedication and service will be held at Wilson Cemetery near Vian, Oklahoma on Saturday July 29, 2017 under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
