Funeral services for John Moroni Hubler, 83, of Haskell, OK, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints with James Johnson, Lynn Hubler, and David Peterson officiating. Pallbearers will be Bill Hubler, Johnny Hubler, Rick Hubler, Joe Hubler, Kim Hubler, Dallin Hubler, Adam Hubler, Billy Hubler Jr., Paul Hubler, and Houston Hubler. Burial will be in Haskell Cemetery under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.

John was born January 2, 1930 in Gore, OK, the son of Peter Penrose Hubler Sr. and Ella Josephine (Powell) Hubler and died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Muskogee. On November 6, 1950 he married Retha Cheek in Van Buren, AR. John was a rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Retha, of the home; five sons, Billy Hubler and wife, Suzanne, of Haskell, Johnny Hubler and wife, Jean-Marie, of Jacksonville, FL, Rick Hubler and wife, Karen, of Webbers Falls, Joe Hubler and wife, Angie, of Stilwell, and Kim Hubler and wife, April, of Tulsa; four brothers, Peter Penrose Hubler Jr. of Gore, Frank Hubler of Ozark, AR, Lynn Hubler of Gore, Parley Hubler of Vian; three sisters, Josie Swearengin, Mary Mannon, and Frances Sumpter all of Gore; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
