Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and had worked at the Wilson Shirt Factory in Crawfordsville. She was a 1942 graduate of Wingate High School.
She was born on February 18, 1924, to Emery and Mavis Henley Allen at Grange Corner, Ind. She married Charles A Miller on September 7, 1936, at Crawfordsville. He survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Fred of Rockville, Md., Tom of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Jeff of Boulder, Colo., and Tim of Damascus, Md.; three sisters, Ruth Tansel, and Thelma Allen, both of Crawfordsville, and Norma Wilson of Hillsboro; a brother, Kenneth Allen of Hillsboro; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Roger Scott, and infant brother, and infant sister and three brothers, Cyril, Cliston and Clifford.
Local funeral services are scheduled for noon Saturday at the Powers-Priebe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Wallace. Friends may call from 11 am untill noon Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral services are also scheduled for Thursday in the Pumphrey Funeral Home at Rockville, Md.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
