Cyril M Allen, 89, of Crawfordsville died at 10:25 am Friday in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville.
Mr. Allen retired from working as a mechanic. He lived in Wallace, where he formerly owned the Wallace Garage.
He attended Grange Corner School in Parke County.
He was born Nov. 10, 1906, in Parke County to Emery F. and Mavis Henley Allen. He married Irene Petty June 24, 1933. She survivies.
Other survivors include a son, Max of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Kenneth of Veedersburg; four sisters, Thelman Allen of Crawfordsville, Violet Miller of Rockville, MD., Ruth Tansel of Crawfordsville and Norma Wilson of Hillsboro; a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm Tuesday in Cramer-Shoemaker Funeral Home at Waynetown. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 pm today at the funeral home.
