The funeral was yesterday in the Gallant Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles George and the Rev. R. D. Caldwell officiating. Burial was in Gum Springs Cemetery beside her late husband, Elbert R. Pitcock.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the later Jarrett and Belle Smith Bennett. She was a member of the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Olene Crouch of Fayetteville; four sons, John Owen Pitcock of Kelso, Roy O. Pitcock and J. M. Pitcock, both of Flintville, William (Bill) Elbert Pitcock, Fayetteville; one sister, Clara Belle Jean of Fayetteville; two brothers, John R. Bennett of Flintville and Carl Bradford Bennett of Fayetteville; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
