Obituary:

William Wesley Patterson, 63, of Iberia died Thursday at a hospital in Tuscumbia. He was a retired farmer. He had been ill for a number of years and had been hospitalized for two days before his death.

Born in Ulman on Aug. 12, 1895, he was a son of William and Camilla Patterson. He was married in 1915 to Cora Davenport, who survives.

Other survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Dora Belle Huffman of Ulman, Mrs. Wilma Martin of Ulman, Mrs. Camilla Bake of Morocco, Africa, and Mrs. Marie Wilson of Iberia; one son, Joseph Patterson of Barnett; four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Meyers of Ulman, Mrs. Belle Dawson of Ulman, Mrs. Gertie Brumley of Ceres, Calif., and Mrs. Junie Groff of Waldenberg, Ark.; three brothers, Perry Pattrerson, Holts Summit, Fred and James Patterson, both of Ulman; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at an Iberia funeral home with the Rev. Elmo Terry officiating. Burial will be int he Hickory Point Cemetery.
