Mrs. Carrie Myers, 87, a life-long resident of Ulman, died Monday morning at her home. Mrs. Myers was born April 4, 1886, near Ulman, the daughter of William and Camilla Nixdorf Patterson. She was married June 8, 1911, to Asa M. Myers, who died May 18, 1949.
She was a member of the Ulman Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three sons, Charles Myers and Bill Myers, both of Ulman, and Ray Myers, Kansas City; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Stout and Miss Kathleen Myers, both of Ulman; one brother, Jim Patterson, Ulman; two sisters, Mrs. Junia Groff, Waldenburg, Ark., Mrs. Gertie Brumley, Ceres, Calif.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Stevinson Chapel, Iberia, with the Rev. Charles Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Point Cemetery, Iberia.
