Fred O. Patterson, age 90 years, of Ulman, Mo., passed away Saturday, February 10, 1973, at the Jones Nursing Home near Tuscumbia, Mo. Mr. Patterson was born February 18, 1882 in Miller County near Ulman, Mo., the son of Bead and Camilla (Nixdorf) Patterson. He was married January 19, 1907 to Minnie Lupardus, who survives. Mr. Patterson lived in and around Ulman all his life where he farmed. He had been a member of the Ulman Christian Church since June 7, 1942, where he served as Deacon of the Church. He was baptized by Rev. John Darby.
Surviving other than his wife, Minnie are: one son, Tennyson F. Patterson of Ulman, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Luna Powell of Kansas City, Mo.; one granddaughter, Mrs. Mina McGowin of Ulman, Mo.; two step grandsons Clyde and John Powell of Kansas City; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Patterson of Ulman, and three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Myers of Ulman, Mrs. Gertrude Brumley of Ceres, Calif., and Mrs. Junia Groff of Waldenburg, ARk.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Mrs. Belle Dawson; and four brothers, Rig Patterson, Joe Patterson , Will Patterson and Perry Patterson.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Ulman Christian Church with Raymond Bond and Steve Gallagher officiating. Interment was int he Hickory Point Cemetery under the direction of the Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia. Pallbearers wre Harley Lupardus, Charley Myers, Virgil Roark, Babe Patterson, Herbert Nixdorf and Dwight McDonald.
