LAURA B. FERGUSON, wife of Robert Milton Ferguson, died Sunday at 2 a.m. at the home of her son, Walter K. Ferguson, Waynesboro, Rt. 1 with whom she made her home the past nine years. She was aged 79.
She was born at Edgemont, a daughter of Samuel and Eliza Jane Finfrock Deal and farmed with her husband in the Ringgold-Waynesboro area for years.
She was a member of the Blue Mountain Church of God.
Surviving, besides her husband are son, Walter K.; daughters, Mrs. George F. Morganthall, Waynesboro, Rt. 4; Mrs. Elmer Shifflet Smithsburg; Mrs. Mary Ellen Berger, Waynesboro, Rt. 3; Mrs. Joseph L. Eberly, Baltimore; Mrs. Roy B. Miller, Waynesboro and Mrs. George K. Chambers, Huston, Pa. Also a sister, Mrs. Bertha Fleagle, Smithsburg, Rt. 2.
Twenty-one grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren also survive.
The body was removed to the Walter Grove Funeral Home in Waynesboro where friends may call Tuesday evening from 7 until 9.
Funeral services Wednesday at the Grove Funeral Home at
p.m. with Revs. C. M. McGaha and Roy Brubaker officiating. Burial in the Germantown Bethel Church cemetery near Cascade.
