Capt. Nathan Richardson, eldest child of Amos Richardson and Rachel Yarrington, b. Mar. 20, 1724/5 at Coventry, Conn. but bapt. Sept. 26, 1725 at Preston, Conn. He m. Nov. 1, 1748 at Lebanon, Conn., Phebe Crocker, dau. of John Crocker and Elizabeth Champion, b. July 24, 1727 at Norwich, Conn.

Nathan and Phebe had twelve children, all b. at Coventry, Conn. During the Rev. War, Nathan moved with his unmarried children to Manchester, VT where he was a Capt. in the Continental Army. Following Nathan's death in 1799, probably at Manchester, VT, the widow Phebe eventually removed to Jericho, VT where she died of record May 23, 1821 while a member of her son-in-law Lewis Chapin's household.

Nathan Richardson and Phebe Crocker's third child was:

• iii. Lucy Champion Richardson, b. Oct. 3, 1752 at Coventry, Conn., d. Mar. 23, 1834 at Pittsford, VT; m. Jan. 30, 1777 at Windham, Conn., Eliab Robinson, s. of Peter Robinson, Jr. and Ruth Fuller, b. Aug. 22, 1742 at Windham, Conn. He d. Apr. 16, 1836 also at Pittsford, VT. Seven children of the family.
