Funeral services were conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Ml. Zion Church with Rev. Gary Strehlow and Rev. Tim Williams officiating. Colonial Chapel of Magee was in charge of arrangements, and burial was at Mi. Zion Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife. Mrs. Virgie Barnes, Rt. 3. Mt. Olive; two daughters. Celia Armstrong, Pearl, and Jimmie Carol Fisher. Mobile; eight grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; six brothers; three sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and friend.
