Emma Amanda Clark,96, died Thursday, Jan 27, 1994, at Canyon Hills Manor in Thermopolis. She was born March 11, 1897, in Jensen, Utah, to John Durby and Anges Jane McCaroll Meacham. She married Sheldon Clark in Vernal, Utah on Aug. 16 1913. The couple moved to Burlington in 1923.

She was a member of the Church of Jesue Christ of Latter-day Saints, and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading and crocheting until her eyesight failed her.

She is survived by daughters Ila Tuttle, Vella Kelley, Erma Rubis, all of basin, Mona Clark of Cody, Viola Mills of Meeteetse, Velma Lynch of Hudson and Irene Yetter of Thermopolis, sons Joe of Lovell, John of Kinnear, Bill of Byron and Jay of Ralston, 67 grandchildren, 128 great-grandchildren, 55 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by husband Sheldon, one daughter and four sons.

Visitation was Monday at the Atwood Family Funeral Home in Basin. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb 1, at Burlington Cemetery with Bishop Paul Rasmussen officiating.
