James Coyt Dennis, 73, of Aurora, Arkansas, died February 18, 1999, at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born August 13, 1925 at Aurora, the son of Sidney Eugene and Edna Arilda Cain Dennis. He was a retired building contractor.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Lois Jean Randolph Dennis of the home; two sons, Eugene Dennis of Witter and James C. Dennis, Jr. of Hanover, Maryland; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Elaine Duggan and Mrs. Norma Sue Collison, both of Elkridge, Maryland, Ms. Janet Lynn Dennis of Aurora and Mrs. Lisa Eileen Calton of Hanover, Maryland; three brothers, Boyd Dennis and Cecil Dennis, both of Aurora and Calvin Dennis of Witter; four sisters, Mrs. Vivian Bowman, Mrs. Vercie Reynolds and Mrs. Velma Hayes, all of Huntsville and Mrs. Sharon Myers of Aurora; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 22 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with C.J. Jackson, Minister, officiating. Interment was in Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers were Dale Dennis, Michael Dennis, Randy Monroe, Jr., Patrick Duggan, Jr., Dennis Duggan and Billy Collison.
