This was the daughter of Herman and Lela Thompson Stacey. She married Allen Cremeens April 04, 1945.

Mildred Stacey Cremeens, 74, of Equality, died 5:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2000, at her residence.

She was born March 25, 1926, in Shawneetown to Herman and Lela (Thompson) Stacey. She married Allen Cremeens April 4, 1945. He survives.

Service is 2 p.m. today, Oct. 23, 2000, at Vickery Funeral Chapel of Equality. The Rev. Robert Patton will officiate. Burial is at Hogan Cemetery in Shawneetown. Visitation was 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at Vickery Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Cremeens was a bookkeeper and parts woman at M & S Implement of Equality for twenty-six years. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of Junction.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother Lela Stacey of Junction; a son Charles Allen (Janet) Cremeens of Equality; a son Robert Earl (Lea Ann) Cremeens; a daughter Ruth Ann (Larry) Fulkerson of Equality; a daughter Deborah Jean (Larry) Price of Elizabethtown; four brothers Jim Stacey of Houlka, Miss., Joe Stacey of Carrier Mills, Donnie Stacey of Simpson, Paul Stacey of Shawneetown; five sisters Helen Fuchs of Harrisburg, Neva Thompson of Shawneetown, Wanda Burpo of Harrisburg; Emma Smith of Shawneetown; Wilma Stacey of Harrisburg; eleven grandchildren Matthew Cremeens of Equality, Sarah (Sean) Martin of Omaha, Benjamin (Heather) Cremeens of Champaign, Megan Cremeens of Equality, Allen (Salena) Glover of Carmi, Tim Glover of Carbondale, Kevin Cremeens of Equality, April Cremeens of Carlinville, Lisa Price (Scott) Probst of Teutopolis, Michael Price of Elizabethtown, Stacey Price of Elizabethtown; and five great-grandchildren Zachary Glover of Equality, Kyle Glover of Equality, Elizabeth Martin of Omaha, Justin Probst of Teutopolis and Jessica Probst of Teutopolis.She was preceded in death by her father and a brother William Stacey.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to VNA Hospice of Eldorado.
