73, of Rt. 1 Robbins passed away at the Scott County Hospital Tuesday, Sept. 9, 1969 after an illness of one year. She was the daughter of the late A. J. Ellis and the late Rose Jane Parker Ellis, a member of the Black Baptist Church. Survivors, two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Jones and Mrs. Alfred Jones both of Robbins; four sons, James C. West, C. V. West and A. D. West all of Robbins, Silas Arthur West of Indianapolis, Ind., one sister, Mrs. Orpha Hanack of Vera Beach, Florida, one brother, Carlie Ellis of Robbins, twenty eight grandchildren and forty five great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the Black Creek Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Thursday Sept. 11, 1969 with the Rev. Roy Blevins officiating. West Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
