Minnie Edwards, 90, Succumbs; Rites Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Edwards, 90, of Jena were held Thursday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Cemetery near Whitehall with Rev. John Ed Snell and Rev. Kenneth Crumbly officiating.
Burial followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Whitehall under the direction of Hixson Bros., Inc. of Jena.
Mrs. Edwards, a housewife, died at the LaSalle General Hospital on Tuesday.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary McClure of Jena; four sons, Al Edwards of Nebo, Bobby Edwards of Hisdier, Okla., and Roy Edwards of West Monroe; and seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Nick Edwards, Cleveland Poole, Lee Edwards, Henry Lees, John Stutson and Donald McClure.
