He was born December 26, 1904, in Catahoula Parish to the union of Tom and Minnie Adams Edwards.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 10, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home with the Revs. Walter Lloyd and Danny Morgan officiating.
Interment followed in Miller Cemetery of Sharptown under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc., of Jena.
Survivors include his wife, Eliza Hudnall Edwards of Sharptown; one sister, Mary McClure of Jena; two brothers, Bobby Edwards and Roy Edwards, both of West Monroe.
Pallbearers were Don Anders, Gregg Lloyd, Harvey Ray Hudnall, Levin LaCroix, Joey Harville and Curt Ainsworth. Alvin Allen was an honorary pallbearer.
