Services for
Buster Airheart, 86, Trinidad, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Trinidad with the Rev. Dan Boler officiating. Burial will be in Trinidad Cemetery under direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff. Mr. Airheart died April 4 in Malakoff. He was born Feb. 4, 1916, in Trinidad to the late Clarence Collins and Irene Bell Wilson Airheart, and was a lifelong resident.
He was a rancher and member of First Baptist Church and Trinidad Volunteer Fire Department. He was also preceded in death by brother, C.W. Airheart; nephew, Gary Airheart; niece, Kim Crawford; and sister-in-law, Cindy Bradley.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Lucille Bradley Airheart, Trinidad; daughters, Laura Smiley,
and V.R. Trinidad; son, Larry Airheart, Trinidad; brothers, Pat Airheart and J.C. Airheart, both of Trinidad, Pete Airheart, Chandler, and Bill Airheart, Beeville; sisters, Alice Gaston, Bryan, Hildred Cartlidge and Francis Newsome, both of Trinidad, and Margaret Crawford, Cedar Creek Lake; 13 grandchil-dren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
