She was born June 2, 1928 in Trinidad to the late Collins and Irene Airheart.
Bessie was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband A. C. Cartlidge and son Billy Cartlidge.
Survivors include sons, Bobby Cartlidge, Lancaster, Benny Cartlidge and wife Kimberly, Southlake, daughter, Brenda Lilley and husband Larry, Quinlan, grandchildren, Amy Flatt, Julie Holt and husband Gunnar, Austin Cartlidge and wife Kimberly, Brock Cartlidge, great grandchildren, Myranda Flatt, Spencer Holt, Natalyn Holt and Jackson Cartlidge, brother, J. C. Airheart and sister, Margaret Crawford.
