Willard Leroy Severin Falen died Jan. 25 in Hillhaven Nursing Home in Topeka. He was 82.
Born Jan. 26, 1900, in Lindsborg, to Frank V. and Mille Jensen Falen, he married Irene E. Holmberg, August 24, 1927, in Lindsborg. Falen was a retired grain miller and lived in Topeka since 1954, moving from Lindsborg. He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Topeka.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; a daughter, Mrs. Lenore F. Edoff, Topeka; four sisters, Mrs. Verna Griggs, McPherson; Mrs. Eleanor Gottschalk, Lindsborg; Mrs. Veola Prather, Springfield, mo.; Mrs. Ruth Tucker, Gainesville, Mo.; two brothers, Raymond Falen, Stafford; Malcolm Falen, Pratt; and one grandson. There will be two services, the first at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jesse Shaw officiating. At 3:30 Saturday, a second service will be conducted in the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lindsborg with the Revs. Jesse Shaw and Loyd Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka.
