HEART ATTACK FATAL
Frank V. Falen Dies in Lindsborg,
There Since Boyhood
LINDSBORG, Dec. 24 -- Frank Victor Falen, 75, who moved to Lindsborg a few days ago from his farm five miles east of here, died Saturday of a heart attack as he steped into his car to go downtown. Mr. Falen came to this community from Illinois as a lad of nine and has lived here continuously since that time. He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church, in which he had served as a deacon.
Besides his wife he is survived by nine sons and daughters, Mrs. Ethel Jacobson, Leroy, Viola, Verna and Malcom Falen, and Mrs. Elmer Gottschalk, all of Lindsborg; Francis Falen, Great Bend; Raymond Falen, Stafford; and Mrs. Ruth Tucker, Olla, La. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Anna Rodell and Mrs. Edith Smith, Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Peter Oberg, Shelbeyville, Ill., and Arthur Falen, Russell.
Funeral services Thursday afternoon at 2 at Train Brothers Funeral Home will be followed by services at 2:15 at the Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. Theo Johnson will be in charge of services and burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
