Norma Lee Platt was the third child of William E Platt and Blanche Celora Murdy Platt. She was a sweet child and a beloved daughter. She and her older sister died during the same week of spinal menigitis. There was an epidemic during those days and her father was the doctor. Their older brother Will told me that they were not ill long when they died. No funeral was held due to the quarrantine. So her Mom and brother Will were the only one there when they were buried. Two sister...two daughters in one day. My grandmother Blanche was pregnant with my mother at that time. What a sad..sad day. My grandmother went into a deep depression for the next few months. Then the little sister that Norma and Ila wanted was born. I am sure that they were there.. I look forward to meeting there two angels in a better place someday.
