Reuben R. Cobb, one of the pioneers of this county, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs Irvin Robbins
in Indianapolis, age 87 years, he was born in Vermont on Aug 14, 1810, he married Amazette, a daughter of Capt. James & Eliza Morgan, on March 22, 1842, they had 3 children, Mrs Irvin Robbins,
William Woodson Cobb, who died a few months ago at the Marion Soldiers Home, and
Mahaska, who resides in Los Angeles, California. He will be buried in South Park Cemetery.
