Willard Cobb a veteran in the war of 1812.The family migrated from Rutland Vermont thru Polleys landing at Ft. Ann NY,& Indiana by 1830 and then to Mahaska Co. Iowa by 1844 where the family remained the daughters all settled near Polk Co Iowa..
