Clarence L. McMahon, 83. Of 2811 Davenport, Saginaw, died suddenly Monday, April 4, 1994, He was bom in Buckeye Township Jan. 30, 1911. He had lived in Saginaw and then lived in Gladwin from 1976 to 1986 when he moved back to Saginaw Mr. McMahon was truck driver for G. H. Brunner Trucking and Muehlenbeck Construction in Saginaw. He then worked in maintenance at the Holiday Inn to Saginaw until retiring in 1975 after 13 years. Mr. McMahon and the former Dietta Dillon were married Sept. 23, 1933 in Gladwin. She preceded him in death on May 1, 1990.
Surviving are one daughter. Patricia Taylor of Saginaw; 2 sons, Lester and Wayne of Saginaw; 2 brothers, Dale of Houghton Lake and Donald of Samia. Ont.; one sister, Maijorie Riegler of Bay City; 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Arthur and Roger and 3 sisters. Ethel Kigar, Thelma Taylor and Grace Hawley.
Rites will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Ronald Cary will officiate and burial will be in the Tobacco Township Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 4-6/1994 Column – 4 Page – 2.
