CARL SCOTT CARTER

Funeral services for Carl Scott Carter, 38, Houston, Texas, were Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church, Davis, with Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment was at Green Hill Cemetery with Fox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Carter was born October 17, 1954 at Sulphur to George Carter and Jewell Hunnicutt Carter. He lived in Davis and graduated from Davis High School in 1972. He moved to Houston eight years ago and was Sr. Administrative Specialist, University of Texas, Harrison County Psychiatric Center, shipping and receiving/inventory control.

Survivors include daughter, Linda Raeshell Carter, Hydro, three sisters, El Ray Anderson and Dorothy Malony, both of Davis and Linda Price of Houston and two brothers, Bob Pickens and Carroll Carter, both of Shawnee.

Pallbearers were Bryson Rose, Roy Eaves, Alan Mendinghal, Mark Gilliland, Larry Coll and Jim Brubaker. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Cruce, Terry Coll, Jerry Lynch, David Curtis, Cotton Russell and Jerry Coll.
