N. J. Nelson Dies After Long Illness
Norman J. Nelson died on July 2, 1944 at his home in Pulaski County after a lingering illness. He was 66 years of age. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at Bluff Creek on July 3 with Rev. John Summer of Pineview officiating and interment was in Bluff Creek Church Cemetery.
(Note: This obituary provided by Mrs. Jimmie Lee Davis in Jan 2007. Per Ms Davis, Mrs. Jim T. Wood should have an "s" on it. The other daughter's last name is Wood, no "s".[Just to clarify the two names of Wood and Woods]

He had another sister that isn't listed. Her name is Fannie Winn Nelson Rodgers, born 19 Nov 1883.
