Mrs. Edna A. Smith 84 of 510 S. Military road, died this morning May 26, 1982 at her home. She was born Oct. 18, 1897 at West Bend, the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Ida Zell Kippenhan. She was married Charles F. Smith Sr. on November 6, 1912 in Fond du Lac. The couple farmed in the town of Eden, moving to the Town of Fond Du Lac in 1949. Surviving are 11 children. Chester, Charles Jr., James and Mrs. Floyd (Ruby) Snyder all of Fond du Lac. Robert and Mrs. Robin (Crystal) Sanders both of Berlin, C. Frederick, Paul and George all of Florida, Richard of Franksville and Mrs. Jake (Pearl) Warner of the Town of Fond du Lac. Also surviving are (sic) 52 grand children; 44 great-grandchildren; 16 step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; a brother, John Kippenhan of Lewistown, Mont; and three sisters, Ann and Sylvia both of Roundup, Mont. and Ida of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 11, 1959 and by a daughter. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Candish Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Cletius Kramer will officate, and burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery. Friends of Mrs. Smith may call from 4
to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
