Funeral services for Chester R. Smith, 70, of 257 S. Park Ave., will be held at 1 :30 p.m. Friday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. He died Wednesday, March 7, 1984, at St. Agnes Hospital. . The Rev. Martin Koehler will officiate, and burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Nov. 26, 1913, at Oakfield, to Charles F. and Edna A. Kippenhann Smith Sr. On Feb. 2, 1952, he married Rosemary L. Theyerl here. Mr. Smith was employed by Sam Manis & Sons Co. for approximately 30 years. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. David (Barbara E.) Mueller of Fond du Lac; a son, Leo R. of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren; seven brothers, Paul, George and Sonny all of Florida, Richard of Racine, Charles Jr. and James both of Fond du Lac and Robert of Ripon; and three sisters, Ruby and Crystal whose addresses are unknown and Mrs. Pearl Warner of Fond du Lac. A son and sister preceded him in death.
